Christmas and the Economy

Well Christmas is just around the corner. Next week is Thanksgiving (and my Birthday, yes I was a Turkey baby!!!), and the Christmas shopping madness officially starts. Are you ready? I know I'm not. You are probably hearing on the news or have felt it personally, about how bad the economy is today. I'm afraid that we have not seen the worse of it. People are losing their jobs, homes, and savings. That's one thing I really like about having my own business along side my full-time job. Yes it is a lot of work. Yes there are days that I am dragging in the door at night. Yes there are days I wonder what I got myself into. But the truth of that matter is I wouldn't give up my little piece of sanity for anything. I love my business even if some days I am just exhausted. I tell my down-line that they don't call it network marketing for nothing, it requires work but the rewards are great. With Christmas upon us, I am glad that I have the extra income from my bra business to go Christmas shopping with. I know Christmas is not about how much you spend on gifts, food and decorations, but at the same time as we come together as a family it is great to be able to give. We all need to remember what the season is really about, and what the celebration is really for. At the same time enjoy the Holiday season, and be thankful for all you have. Even in the bad economic times we all can probably think of a hand full of people that are worse off than us that we know personally. That is why I am extending my hand out to anyone who is interested in starting their home-based business, either to work along side their full-time job, or to replace a lost job.
